Some moments move too fast to paint.

So I photograph them first — and then I find a way to hold them.

Original art and digital prints inspired by the fleeting light and colour of the British coast. Made to bring that feeling home.

~~~
For five years I've been weaving the Cornish coast into fibre and textile — finding ways to hold light, stillness and the particular quality of the sea in tactile, handmade form.
Now I'm picking up a paintbrush.
This year marks a new creative chapter — one I'm stepping into slowly, curiously, and with complete honesty. Alongside my remaining fibre works, I'm now offering digital art prints created from my own photographs of the coastal moments that have always moved me. And soon, small original paintings will begin to find their way into the world too.
If you've ever stood somewhere beautiful and felt something you couldn't quite name — that's what I'm trying to make a home for.
Transitioning from textiles to paint
As I embark on a new creative path to rediscover the paint that I loved so much as a youngster, I have a small selection of fibre art pieces left to find homes for. The sale of these and the remaining leather earrings will fund new paints and canvas, so please feel free to browse and see if anything resonates!
