Original Diamond Knot Wall Hanging

Give your walls some love with this striking piece of macrame featuring unique leather details that will add texture and interest to any room. This is actually the first wall hanging of this design that I made, hence the "Original" title. I loved it so much I made two more in different colours!

Featuring a traditional macrame square knot pattern handcrafted from natural cream cotton cord, which has then been partially unravelled to create a supersoft waterfall fringe. This boho design has then been given a modern twist with the addition of a beautiful piece of dark chocolate leather, itself decorated with contrasting cream diamond knots. Dark chocolate leather cords have been added to the fringe for extra depth and impact.

This wall hanging is arranged on an FSC certified length of oak dowel and the combination of natural materials mean this is the perfect art to create those cosy, hygge vibes in your home. 

Materials used: 5mm 4 ply natural cotton cord, 5mm braided recycled cotton cord, leather, FSC certified oak dowel

Measurements: Length 67cm, width 26cm, 12mm oak dowel width 32cm

How to hang: this wall hanging is designed to be placed directly onto nails to create a floating effect, but feel free to get creative to suit your own home style and share with our instagram community!

Product care: I find a lint roller ideal for removing dust from the cords and use a soft cloth to gently remove dust from the leather and dowel when needed.

All my items are handcrafted by myself in Falmouth, Cornwall. I use recycled or repurposed materials where possible and post my creations in sustainable and recyclable packaging.
